Thanks to our School-Based Dental Sealant Program, preventative dental care is provided at no cost to children participating in the Boys & Girls Club's Summer Program.
At no cost, your child can receive:
- A dental screening and assessment
- Education on how to brush and floss teeth
- Dental Sealants, if needed, and a fluoride treatment
- Toothbrush, toothpaste and floss
Consent forms will be available at each site. Services are provided by a licensed dental hygienist from the Florida Department of Health in Citrus County.
No medications, shots, x-rays, or fillings will be given to your child. After receiving services, you will get a summary of the services your child received and any recommendations for follow-up care if needed.
Services provided do not replace regular dental check-ups.
