DOH-CITRUS AND THE COVID-19 VACCINATION SITE TO CLOSE FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY

In observance of Independence Day, the Florida Department of Health in Citrus County (DOH-Citrus) and the Duke Energy/DOH-Citrus COVID-19 Vaccination Site in Crystal River will be closed Monday, July 5. DOH-Citrus and its vaccination site will reopen at its regularly scheduled times on Tuesday, July 6.

For the remainder of July, first and second doses of the Moderna vaccine, as well as single doses of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine, will be offered by walk-in only at 8200 W. Venable St. in Crystal River on the following days and times:  

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, July 2-30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 1-29, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Saturday, July 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
