August Covid-19 Vaccine Schedule

Or book an appointment with a pharmacy near you. Search vaccines.gov, text your ZIP code to 438829, or call 1-800-232-0233 to find locations nearby, including by what type of vaccines they offer.

No-cost Moderna vaccines for people 18 years and older, Pfizer vaccine for people 12 years and older, and J&J vaccine for people 18 years and older are offered at the Citrus County Health Department 3700 W. Sovereign Path in Lecanto by appointment.

WEDNESDAYS 9AM - 11AM

DOH-Citrus has the Pfizer age-appropriate vaccine for children aged 5-11. This vaccine is given by appointment only. Call 352-527-0247 for your appointment. It is also widely available in the local community at retail pharmacy locations.

Residents can find locations in their area that have the vaccines available by visiting www.vaccines.gov.

There are now booster recommendations for all three available COVID-19 vaccines in the United States. Eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose, when available. Some individuals may have a preference for the vaccine type that they originally received, while others may prefer to get a different booster. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix and match dosing for booster shots of COVID-19 vaccine.

Click here to download instructions on how to obtain your COVID-19 shot record card from http://www.flshotsusers.com/. Or you would have to come into our Lecanto Health Department, 3700 W. Sovereign Path, either by or appointment or walk in to have one of our staff members assist you in printing out your immunization record from Florida SHOTS.

We do not replace the actual card, but we can provide you with your immunization record. There will be a $5 fee. Call 352-527-0247 for more info or to set up an appointment.
