Clinical and Nutrition Services

Services We Provide Include 

Clinical services provided by the Department of Health in Citrus County include vaccines for babies, school-age children, and adults; prenatal care, offered to women of all ages, with or without insurance; reproductive and sexual health services, with costs based on ability to pay; and sexually transmitted infection (STI) service, including testing and treatment. 

Our Women Infants Children (WIC) program provides nutrition information and financial assistance to purchase certain healthy foods, for pregnant women, infants and children under age 5. 

The Volunteer Healthcare Provider program helps the uninsured population of Citrus County connect with providers who can assist with dental and medical care.
